I play around a lot with spray bottle recipes, usually depending on what products I have in the house, but this is definitely my favourite so far and one that I keep coming back to and have been using consistently for quite a few months now. It doesn't need a ton of ingredients, it has great slip, is pH balanced and my hair feels so soft when I spray it on.
- 200 ml Distilled Water: I only use distilled because we live in a hard water area so I try to minimise buildup as much as possible. If you live in a soft water area then ordinary tap water will do just fine.
- 2 Heaped Tablespoons Kinky Curly Knot Today: I use Tresemme Naturals when I don't have any KCKT but I prefer this because this slip is wonderful.
- 2 Tablespoons Glycerine
- 2 Teaspoons Jojoba: Honestly, any oil will work fine. I like jojoba because it's not as light as Coconut or Grape Seed but not as heavy as Castor or Avocado. Because I use the LCS method, I want my leave-in to feel substantial - not just like I'm spraying water on my hair - but still light.
- 1/2 Teaspoon Apple Cider Vinegar: This is to balance the pH. Click here to find out why pH is important.
